A Cat's Life

The life of a cat
how nice it would be
to sit on the lap
of luxury,

They sit on their owner
or whoever elses lap,
being massaged all day
while they just nap.

Their dinners always out
their water too,
there is nothing at all
that a cat has to do.

They have the run of the house
they live like a king,
and they don't have to worry
about anything.

They are easily amused
they never get bored,
and by most everyone
they are just adored.

They jump really high
they have the ability,
to get to the places
that we never see.

They leap from place to place
just soar through the air,
without ever thinking twice
because they have no fear.

They live the leisure life
no matter where they are at,
Oh,what it would be
to live life as a cat.
